About Young Musicians Unite
Florida’s largest provider of free music education
Young Musicians Unite (YMU) provides free, high quality music education to more than 16,200 students each week across 106 Miami Dade County public schools. Through professional music instructors, instruments, technology, curriculum, and performance opportunities, YMU helps students build confidence, creativity, leadership, and lifelong skills.
YMU is raising $3 million to expand its impact to 22,000 students across 155 schools by the 2027-2028 school year.
The Halloween Moonlight Masquerade is hosted by the YMU Community Board, bringing Miami together for an unforgettable evening of music, masks, and magic in support of the next generation of young musicians.
